This is a long overdue review, but Roman deserves to have his outstanding services publicized. My mom recently moved into a home with multiple fireplaces, all of which had been severely neglected. There was considerable damage to the chimneys and the flues, and it all pretty much needed to be rebuilt. I used Yelp, along with neighborhood websites, to try to find 3 reputable companies to come out and give an estimate. Roman from Coast to Coast Masonry was just wonderful. He provided my mom with detailed information and explanations of the work required. However, unlike some other companies we spoke to, he was not high-pressure. He treated my mom with the utmost respect, and his pricing was right in line with everyone else’s. We gave him the job, and he and his team worked HARD for a week straight. They were so diligent and detail oriented. He did this work back in the summer, but of course we didn’t turn the fireplaces on when it was hot. Once my mom wanted to use one of her fireplaces, she realized that the gas starter was not working. We called Roman, and he came out and fully diagnosed what the problem was. It had nothing to do with the work he had done, but he solved the problem and wanted to ensure that my mom was happy. AND – he didn’t charge a dime for that last visit, which was more than an hour of his time. In a world where service levels are going down, I’m glad to know that there are companies like Coast to Coast who go the extra mile. Thanks, Roman.
